Wow is just an understatement i have been to Trigo a few times and never tried the pan con croqueta till today. It was so delicious! it had islas canarias croquetas on the inside with Swiss cheese and i added papitas juliana for the final touch. Also couldn't forget the trigo shake which made it the right combination. I ordered online through Uber eats and the order was done pretty quickly, picked up in store where the waitress welcomed me and handed me my order. Absolutely love this hidden gem in Hialeah.

After 24 hours of cancelled flights and being stranded alone in Miami with no luggage, etc... This was the perfect place to lift my spirits. The spot is cozy, food was delicious, and service was even better. My Spanish is very minimal and the women here were very warm and accommodating. If I were a local, I would be back.

Trigo Cafe is a gem! Their charcuterie board paired with a bottle of Red wine was just what we needed. The staff are super friendly and make you feel at home. The dining area is cozy and perfect for a date night. Definitely a must-visit!

Finally a Cuban restaurant that is divine. Wow, wow, wow! I had their Serrano with manchego cheese on a toasted baguette style bread. It was actually Spanish Serrano, not the stuff people buy at supermarket. We also tried the ham croqueta. It was equally amazing. You have to come and see for yourself. Service was excellent. Our servers Carolina, Angie and Yarlen served as if this was a high end restaurant. So much for my diet. The restaurant was very stylish. For the boozers they have a large selection of beer. For the rest .. make sure you try one of their milkshakes. I plan to return this week.

Good feels very home made they have a huge variety. We want to come back to try other items in the menu. Service is great. Get your Google translate ready because Spanish only. The place is very clean and well taken care of. We were curious about the Trigo milkshake and the best way to describe is what my husband said "It tastes like the milk after you finish your cereal bowl" and it sure does. It's good, but not my cup of tea.

Had a pleasure dining at Trigo Café. We had a wonderful experience with their customer service. The staff was so polite and kind and knew the menu very well. We got delicious food and an amazing milkshakes. And the portion and ingredients were generous and reasonable. I also enjoy the croquetas very much.  The place has pretty nice interior, classy, and comfy. Totally back over again!

Five star for sure! Trigo cafe is Hialeah greatness! The restaurant is small, however with the bar seating, my kids and I could fit our big party inside comfortably. Service was prompt, friendly and very knowledgeable. We has a big party with a big order, and our server got it right the first time around! She was awesome. The food was just the same, awesome! One of my daughters has the French toast, to which she said was Amazing. As I cannot have gluten anymore, I had the Hialeah comfort breakfast with eggs, rice and maduros(sweet plaintains) to which was as the name explained, a real comfort breakfast for me and not to mention, delicious!! The eggs were done just right, the rice soft and the maduros sweet. Yum-tastic!!! I also had a guava mimosa which was equally good. All five stars deserved! The kids and I will be back(as usual )

This little elevated Cuban cafeteria is EVERYTHING. Discovered it on a random afternoon with my best friend and have been going back ever since. I had to take my mom here for Sunday brunch. She absolutely loved it! Both of us had the Morning Glory which comes with all the goods (bacon, scrambled eggs, tater tots, tostada, cafe con leche, 2 croquetas)s The Isla Canaria croquetas are the absolute best. The serving is large and is great for the price. The service is always quick and the staff is always extremely friendly and welcoming. This is my new go-to breakfast spot. Will be returning!

Our group of 5 stopped in for a late lunch. The staff was kind and place was clean and bright. The Cuban sandwich was good - what you'd expect. Two of us had the Serrano ham, manchego and tomato sandwich and really enjoyed it, a good balance. The steak sandwich was probably the least successful of our offerings, but the fries were super crispy and exceptionally good. The burger with cheese and fried egg was devoured with delight and the black beans were phenomenal.

Update 8/6/2023: I have been here many times and I have nothing but good things to say about this family operated hidden gem in the heart of Hialeah. Had the pleasure of meeting the Chef and his wife and they're just the most down to earth, delightful restaurant owners I've ever met. The service is also top notch and the food is to die for but now they've incorporated a few Spanish inspired dishes in the brunch menu that just took it to the next level because if brunch was phenomenal before, it just became astronomical. I'd recommend the Pisto Manchego, kind of replacing the old "Gipsy" but arguably a better dish, I've had the Huevos Rotos before and it's delicious, the croquetas are addicting, the Trigo Montecristo which is a incredibly unique and mouthwatering and the burger which is one of the best brunch burgers in town. I've also tried other dishes like the avocado toast, yuca fries, chicken and waffles, Hialeah comfort and the Jockey, all equally delectable. I have to come back to try the Shrimp and Grits "Sureño" and visit for dinner to try the Spanish tapas next door, more excuses to come back to this lovely gem of a restaurant.
